City Council will conduct a Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 to consider the allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for Fiscal Year 2023-2024. The City’s estimated CDBG funding allocation for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 is $26,294. This amount may increase or decrease by up to 10% based on the final funding allocation from the United States Department of Housing and Community Development. CDBG funds must be used for programs that provide assistance to low- and moderate-income households or for programs that aid in the elimination of slum and blight. Possible uses of CDBG funding to be considered by the City Council include funding for the City’s housing rehabilitation program.
