Southern California Edison has scheduled a planned maintenance outage (Outage #980763) at the corner of Agoura Rd and Lakeview Canyon Rd TOMORROW Thursday, June 27 from 12:30am to 7am. This outage is NOT related to the Public Safety Power Shutoff program. This outage will affect the traffic signals at this intersection and in preparation, the City has scheduled our County partners to place the signals in a “Red flashing” state and post temporary stop signs on each approach prior to the outage. When the power goes off, the battery backup systems inside the traffic signals will maintain the “Red flashing” state for a period of time. Should the batteries be depleted and the signals go dark, the stop signs should be obeyed for intersection control. The County will then return as soon as the power is restored by Edison to check the systems, remove the stop signs, and return the signal to normal operation. As this planned outage is being scheduled and managed by Edison, the outage timing and duration are subject to change. The City is working with Edison to ensure residents, visitors, and businesses are well informed of work that may impact them.
