Freeway frontage project and street improvement updates provided...
Freeway Frontage Landscaping:
Construction of new landscaping along the Southwest Quadrant of the Lindero Freeway Interchange has been completed and is currently in the maintenance period. The project will be closed out and accepted by the City in early March. From there, we can all watch together as the trees grow to maturity over the next few years!
Street Improvements:
Slurry seal is scheduled for Saturday work in mid-February on Via Rocas and the portion of Via Colinas between Via Rocas and Lindero Canyon Road, and weekdays in mid-February for Sterling Center, Canterhill, Glenbridge and Ridgeford Drive. The planned grinding and paving work is now scheduled to commence in early February, beginning in Canyon Oaks and Three Springs neighborhoods, followed by Saturday work for paving on Corsa Avenue, La Baya, Via Colinas between Thousand Oaks Blvd and Via Rocas, and Portola Court. Pavement patch repair work on Lindero Canyon Road north of Whim and on Kentfield Drive in First Neighborhood and Foxfield Drive in the Westlake Trails Neighborhood will also be performed in mid-February. Paving on Russell Ranch Road is scheduled at the end of February.
