Westlake Village Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)

Westlake Village Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
The Westlake Village CERT is a volunteer group that provides community members with basic training designed to help them better care for themselves, their families and others in the community in the event of a disaster. Additionally, the Westlake Village CERT recruits, equips, and maintains a well-trained citizen response team to aid the City in the event of an emergency. If you are interested in taking the CERT courses or learning more about the WLVDRT please contact, Caleb Mott at 818-706-1613.

Training
Los Angeles Fire Department offers free Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) to residents several times a year. The 7-week class provides training in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Classes are typically held in Agoura Hills in February and September.
