The week beginning 1/15, we have grinding and Asphalt Overlay operations planned. Grinding operations are done no more than 2 days before paving operations. Grinding is a moving operation and will require parking limitations but will not impact access to driveways.
Asphalt Overlay is the most impactful work we will be doing. We’ve tried to explain the traffic control as best we can in the attached maps. During an overlay operation, residents will not have access to their driveways and will need to refer to the door hangers they receive in advance of the work. No parking signs will be posted on affected streets. Our Construction Management Staff is coordinating with Street Sweepers, Trash Collectors, and the Post Office to adjust their schedules appropriately.
We are committed to reducing the inconvenience the operations cause to the greatest possible extent. We will work with any residents who need assistance during times that they cannot drive to their property due to Asphalt Overlay Operations.
