Waste Hauler Permits

In July 2022, the Westlake Village City Council approved a franchise agreement with Waste Management to provide exclusive waste collection services for commercial/industrial premises. Pursuant to City ordinance and State law, any hauler that was providing waste collection services for commercial/industrial customers in the City of Westlake Village during calendar year 2021 may continue providing service to its existing customers for up to five years after exclusivity takes effect. All haulers must obtain a waste hauler permit from the City, subject to annual renewal.

Waste hauler permit applications must be filed online using the link below. The permit application must be completed in one session. Partially completed applications cannot be saved in progress.

Before filling out the application, please carefully review the Hauler Permit Application Requirements. Multiple documents must be prepared and uploaded with the application.
