The City of Westlake Village is committed to ensuring that current and prospective residents are treated fairly under housing laws and that housing assistance and resources are available to those in need. Please take advantage of the housing resources listed below.

Housing Rights Center

The Housing Rights Center (HRC) is a nonprofit civil rights organization dedicated to securing and promoting fair housing. Westlake Village residents should contact HRC with any questions about tenant-landlord rights, illegal housing practices, rent increases, evictions, and fair housing laws.

HRC provides free weekly workshops that teach out fair housing laws, how to spot illegal housing practices, and tenant-landlord issues. Learn more and register here.

Disability Community Resource Center

The Disability Community Resource Center (DCRC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting people with disabilities and seniors to achieve and maintain self-directed and community-based independent lives.

The Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) administers a variety housing programs including Section 8 tenant-based housing assistance, public and affordable housing, homebuyer programs, and home improvement loan and grant programs.
