Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering in the City of Westlake Village

The City always encourages and welcomes your involvement in civic activities which can take the form of participation on City committees, task forces, volunteer programs like the Disaster Response Team or the Volunteers in Policing Programs, special projects, and other programs.

The Cultural Recreation Advisory Board has 2 sub-committees that advise them. Interested residents can join a sub-committee without being on the Board. There is currently a Senior and Westlake Village Discovers sub-committee.

For history buffs, the City is seeking help in digitizing the historical archives for easy access for the public.

The City operates over 15 events a year. Volunteers may assist with set-up, take down, decorating, recycling, and much more.

The City is proud to participate in the iServe Service Learning program with the Las Virgenes Unified School District to provide opportunities for youth to fulfill their community service hours throughout the year.
