About the City Celebration
The City Celebration is an annual day-long event that brings the community together at the Westlake Village Civic Center. This year marks the 17th year of the event with the collaborations of multiple non-profit organizations and local businesses. Featuring a dance party zone, food trucks, beer and wine, a mobile tide pool, document shredding collection, a magic show and the popular White Oak Elementary Family Festival. The Westlake Village City Celebration truly offers something for residents of all ages and interests.

SUPPORT NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WHILE MAKING MEMORIES AT THE 2019 CITY CELEBRATION ON OCTOBER 19!
The 17th annual Westlake Village City Celebration returns on Saturday, October 19. The fun begins at 3:00 pm and continues until 8:00 pm. The afternoon and early evening event bring together community groups and organizations for a family-friendly community gathering held at the Westlake Village Civic Center.
White Oak Family Fun Fair
The popular White Oak Family Fun Fair returns with exciting rides like the Zipper, Swing Chairs, Pirate Ship, traditional Ferris Wheel, Carousel, inflatables and the Giant Slide. Make sure to visit the White Oak PFC ticket booth and spirit wear to help support the local school. Unlimited ride bracelets cost $35 each. Individual ride tickets cost $4 each. One ticket equals one ride.
Canned Food Collection
Residents are encouraged to drop-off cans or boxes of food for Manna Food Bank at the collection tables as you enter the event. Help to stock the shelves at the local food pantry. First 100 participants to bring two or more cans each will receive a prize!
Performances and Dance Zone
The Friends of the Westlake Village Library will sponsor a free magic show featuring magician “Arty Loon” at 6:00 pm in the City Council Chambers. The Yarrow Family YMCA will be demonstrating some of their activity classes, including Zumba, K-Pop and Hip-Hop on the dance floor between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. The dance floor will remain open all evening for people to come and go as they please. The YMCA will also be hosting a sensory activity table. Membership and other information about the newly opened facility will be available.
Family Friendly Activities
To add to the day’s fun and to provide additional activities for all ages, the City is sponsoring free activities including balloon animals, face painting, a photo booth, Sheriff and Fire meet ‘n’ greet area, Captain Carl’s Mobile Tide Pool, an arcade room and some interactive tables. Local business, Create Studios, will host an arts and crafts booth with free activities for residents of all ages. Polis and Associates will be on site to hand out materials on recycling. CLU Counseling Services will also host a booth to share information about their center’s services. Stop by and say hello!
13 and Up Area!
New this year! An inflatable haunted house and 80’s themed lounge area for high school students! Check out this year’s “Stranger Teens” area with a terrifying inflatable haunted house, seating and games like Giant Jenga, Connect 4, Giant Checkers and Bean Bag Toss.
Inflatable Haunted House Age Restriction:13 years old and above.
Not recommended for anyone who does not enjoy being scared or emotionally thrilled.
All participants must have a signed waiver, participants under 18 years of age must have parent/guardian signature.
Please download and complete the Inflatable Haunted House Waiver ahead of time and bring to the event. Waivers will also be available at the event.
Food Trucks, Beer and Wine
Enjoy food selections from “Epic Tacos Food Truck”, “Grilled Cheese Truck”, “Jogasaki Sushi Burrito”, “Kona Ice”, “California Kettle Corn”, “Farm and Flame”, and “Cousin’s Maine Lobster”. Tables for dining are available around the dance floor and in the back patio. Relax with a glass of craft beer or wine in the comfortable lounge area located in the back terrace. Provided by "Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company", "14 Cannons", "Wade's Wines" and "Giessinger Winery". Dinner and drink purchases will help support the Westlake Village Community Foundation. Food, beer, and wine will be available for purchase from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Back by popular demand, residents will have the opportunity to drop off sensitive documents for safe and secure shredding at the event’s designated parking lot area (31051 Agoura Road) across the street from City Hall. The shredding event from Williams Data Management is limited to three boxes per family to allow for as many residents to participate as possible. The document shredding will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The shredding is sponsored by Polis and Associates.
Event parking will be available at 31051 Agoura Road. All City Celebration events take place at the Westlake Village Civic Center located at 31200 Oak Crest Drive.
